We rent it out.
Not only for a single event day. The robot goes out for one day, for a run of working days, for a full week and for periods of months — for research, development and data collection just as much as for productions and events. The longer the term, the lower the daily rate.

What is the G1 EDU U2?
The G1 is a bipedal humanoid robot from Unitree Robotics — a platform about 1.32 m tall and 35 kg, with dynamic balance, a depth camera and 3D LiDAR. It is one of the most accessible and widely used humanoid robotics platforms in the world for research and development.
Our unit is an EDU U2 — the research and development tier, not the base model. It is stronger (120 N·m knee torque instead of 90, up to 3 kg arm payload), open for both high- and low-level development, and carries an additional 100 TOPS compute unit on top of the base 40 TOPS.
On top of all that we built our own software layer: real-time Hebrew voice conversation, LLM integration, motion-sequence management and per-project customisation.

Inspire Robots RH56E2 — an industrial-grade five-finger robotic hand. Rented as a pair with the robot, or on its own as an end effector for a system you already have.

The G1 EDU U2 ships in its base configuration without dexterous hands. For work that needs real grasping, we rent a pair of Inspire Robots RH56E2 hands: five fingers, six degrees of freedom each, tactile sensors in the fingertips and force control at 0.05 N resolution.
Rent them with the robot, or on their own as an end effector for a system you already have. The interface is standard (RS485 / CAN / Modbus TCP), so they also mount on a non-Unitree robotic arm.

Can I rent a Unitree G1 in Israel without buying one?
Yes. Tagbox rents an operational Unitree G1 EDU U2 in Israel — for R&D, film production, live demos, conferences and events. There is nothing to purchase or maintain, and no special infrastructure is needed on site.
How long can I rent the robot for?
From a single day to a long-term engagement. We rent by the event or shoot day, for a run of consecutive working days, by the week, and for months at a time — a research block or an ongoing development project, for example. The term is set per project, and the daily rate drops as the term gets longer.
Which model exactly do you rent?
A Unitree G1 EDU U2 — the research and development tier of the platform, not the base model. It carries an upgraded 120 N·m knee torque, up to 3 kg arm payload, full support for both high- and low-level development, and an additional 100 TOPS compute unit on top of the base 40 TOPS.
Can I rent dexterous hands as well?
Yes. We rent a pair of Inspire Robots RH56E2 hands — five fingers, six degrees of freedom and 12 joints per hand, load capacity equivalent to 15 kg, and tactile sensors in the fingertips. Rent them with the robot or on their own as an end effector for an existing system; the interface is standard (RS485, CAN, Modbus TCP).
Is this suitable for academic research and development?
Very much so, and it is a core part of what we do. Labs, universities and technology companies rent the unit for weeks or months for data collection, motion-policy training, manipulation experiments and algorithm testing — instead of committing tens of thousands of dollars to hardware that will date.
What software customisation is possible on the platform?
We have built a dedicated software layer on top of the platform: real-time Hebrew voice conversation, LLM integration, custom motion sequences and integration with a client's own systems. The scope of customisation is set per project.
How long does the robot run continuously?
One battery lasts about two hours. The battery is quick-release, and every rental includes spare batteries and a charger — so a full working day runs with no charging downtime.
What is included in a rental?
Transport, setup and a systems check on site, spare batteries and a charger, technical support throughout the period, and insurance and warranty on the equipment. An event or shoot day comes with a professional operator from our team; on longer R&D rentals we can instead train and certify your own people to work with the unit.
Do you rent outside Israel?
The unit is based in Israel and most work happens here. For a project abroad, contact us with the dates and location and we will tell you whether it is workable — transport, customs and an operator all have to line up.
